The Solution Papers Revisited: A Compilation of the Beginning, Integration, and Ever-Expanding Guide to Solution-Focused Publications

Patrick J. Triggiano, M.S., C.P.C.

In the 1970's we were introduced to the first publications of the influential solution-focused therapy model. Since that time, an explosion of written, taped, and recorded information has allowed us to critique, create, and induct new and challenging ideas which move within and beyond the original positions. The following is an effort to compile the works of many individuals across disciplines, each lending their own views and experiences, to shape and guide us in this helping profession.

I would like to acknowledge and thank Dr. Scott Miller, at the Brief Therapy Training Consortium in Illinois for all of his continued support and encouragement. I also want to thank Evan George, Chris Iveson, and Harvey Ratner at Brief Therapy Practice in London for sharing their hard work at locating resources abroad. I also wish to express thanks to Insoo Kim Berg and the staff at Brief Family Therapy Center in Milwaukee for their interest and help and dedication to this field.
