We appreciate your interest in our journals program. Below please find Frequently Asked Questions about our program as well as our answers.
1) Please tell me more about the special discounts for journal subscribers.

All Guilford books, periodicals, and videos are now available at a 20% discount - ONLY for Guilford Journal subscribers. Order online via our website and enter Promotional Code JRNL on your shopping cart page. This offer is valid only while your subscription is active.

Note: Limit of one copy of a title per customer. Offer may not be combined with other Guilford discounts, including APA-member discounts, special package offers, or sale books.

2) Where can I find a complete list of the journals that Guilford publishes?

To find a list of our complete periodicals program, separated by subject area, browse our main journals page.

In addition to our outstanding journals in psychology, health, and politics, Guilford publishes two professional newsletters, The ADHD Report and Child & Adolescent Psychopharmacology News. If you are already a subscriber to one of our newsletters, please see our Guilford Newsletter Information.

3) Who can I call or e-mail if I have a question about my subscription or an editorial suggestion for one of your journals?

For questions about your subscription that are not answered here, please e-mail our fulfillment department at news@guilford.com, or call toll-free 800-365-7006, ext. 3. If you are outside the U.S., call 212-431-9800, ext. 3.

To offer editorial suggestions or feedback, please contact our Journals Managing Editor, Jody Falco, at jody.falco@guilford.com, 800-365-7006, ext. 246. If you are outside the U.S., call 212-431-9800, ext. 246.

4) Can I renew my subscription online?

Yes, we have set up an easy and secure Web page for subscription renewals.

5) Please tell me what the numbers on my mailing label mean.

Please open or download our mailing label information sheet (Adobe Reader required).

6) How can I determine how many issues are left in my subscription?

Your mailing label lists the number of issues remaining in your subscription. See number 4 above.

7) How do I sign up for the free online access that comes with my subscription?

You can find complete instructions for registering for online access on our periodicals online page.

8) How soon will my online access begin?

After you register for online access, it will take from 7 to 10 days for us to set up your online access. You will receive an email from our online service provider, Atypon, which will include a link to set up your username and password. If you register for access via an IP address, no email is sent, but you should expect to be able to access your subscription within 7 to 10 days.

9) What can I do if I do not receive an issue?

We mail out free replacement copies for issues lost in the mail. Just write to us at news@guilford.com.

10) How soon after I pay for a journal subscription will that subscription begin?

Most of our journals are published on a calendar year basis, so the first issue of your subscription will be the first issue published in any given year. Your subscription will run from the first issue of the volume to the last issue. If you begin your subscription in the middle of the year, we will be sending you the earlier issues from the year as part of your subscription. You should receive issues published before you began your subscription within 2 to 3 weeks.

For the journals Science & Society, AIDS Education & Prevention, and The Bulletin of the Menninger Clinic, subscriptions will begin with the next available issue.
