John H. Riskind, PhD, is Professor of Psychology at George Mason University. Prior to that, he had faculty appointments with the University of Pennsylvania Medical School, where he was Research Director at the Center for Cognitive Therapy, and with Texas A&M University. He has authored numerous articles on cognitive styles in anxiety and has also done work on depression and basic emotions theory.
