 | Susan M. OrsilloSusan M. Orsillo, PhD, is Professor of Psychology at Suffolk University in Boston. She has written and published extensively about mindfulness, anxiety, and psychotherapy. In collaboration with her doctoral students in clinical psychology, she has developed a number of prevention and treatment programs that integrate acceptance and mindfulness with evidence-based behavioral approaches. Dr. Orsillo and her collaborator Lizabeth Roemer spent 15 years developing and refining a treatment approach that is the basis of their self-help books The Mindful Way through Anxiety and Worry Less, Live More: The Mindful Way through Anxiety Workbook. Drs. Orsillo and Roemer are also coauthors of Mindfulness- and Acceptance-Based Behavioral Therapies in Practice (for mental health professionals).
