M. David RuddM. David Rudd, PhD, ABPP, is Distinguished University Professor of Psychology, Director of the Rudd Institute for Veteran and Military Suicide Prevention, and Director of the Clinical Risk, Resilience and Intervention Lab at The University of Memphis. A board-certified clinical psychologist, Dr. Rudd served on the medical staff for tertiary care medical centers for 15 years before returning to academia full-time. He has served at every academic leadership level, including as a department chair; dean; provost at Baylor, Texas Tech, and the University of Utah; and, most recently, as president of The University of Memphis for almost a decade. Dr. Rudd is consistently ranked among the top 0.05% of researchers in suicide prevention, treatment, and assessment. |
