Renée M. Tobin, PhD, is Professor of Counseling and School Psychology and Dean of the Graduate School at Temple University. Her research and practice focus on promoting youths’ social–emotional development, particularly in school settings. Dr. Tobin is coauthor of a psychometrics textbook, has published in a range of psychology and school psychology journals, and serves on the editorial boards of Journal of Psychoeducational Assessment and Journal of School Psychology. Her teaching experience includes graduate-level courses in counseling, assessment, and consultation, and practicum and internship supervision. Dr. Tobin is a Fellow of both the American Psychological Association and the Midwestern Psychological Association.

Ara J. Schmitt, PhD, is Professor of School Psychology and Associate Dean for Research and Faculty Advancement in the School of Education at Duquesne University. His research interests involve assessment and evidence-based intervention for learning problems, including those that arise from chronic illnesses; pediatric concussion; and professional issues in school psychology. Dr. Schmitt has over 100 publications and is coauthor of the clinical decision-making tool Evaluation STEPS. He serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Psychoeducational Assessment, the Journal of School Psychology, and the Journal of Applied School Psychology. His teaching experience includes graduate-level courses in assessment, intervention, and biological bases of behavior, and practicum and internship supervision. Dr. Schmitt is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association.

Alvin E. House, PhD, is Professor Emeritus in the Department of Psychology at Illinois State University. His professional practice and research focus on applying assessment results in school, vocational, medical, and forensic consultations. Dr. House has published books, journal articles, and chapters on mental health evaluation of children and on intellectual, personality, and neuropsychological testing.
